Fully equipped studio for hire.The floor area measures 7mt x 5mt and 3.5mt high.  It is fitted with a range of modern Bowens lights each with its own softbox/wafer. Each light is suspended from an overhead rail system which ensures easy positioning and no wires to fall over.

The studio is wheelchair friendly making it ideal for all photographers.

There is a choice of four backdrops, black, white, mottled grey and mottled sand.

We also have a selection of models who are available to hire or you may bring your own. There is a still life table.

Not all digital cameras are compatible with studio lighting. If your camera has a PC or hot shoe connector it should work. Please check your camera manual first. We cannot offer a refund if your camera fails to work in the studio.

At the studio experienced and amateur photographers are welcome . Your first glamour shoot can be a little intense as you can imagine.

This simple, one hour shoot with one of the studio models is designed with you in mind, and to help you get through the initial stages of what can sometimes be a daunting experience.

The course starts with a lingerie shoot which lasts aprox 20 min's and finishes with a nude shoot. You can have as much help with lighting setup etc as you require and someone will be there to assist you for as long as you wish.

Internet and wifi access, and large format printer if required. Apart from that also includes an old two storey shed which was originally built as a stable back in 1865 and the upstairs area of that has been cleared and can be used as a distressed shooting area.

Air conditioned 7 x 5 metre studio with 2.75 metre wide wall mounted backdrop with white vinyl and assorted coloured paper backgrounds. It has 4 wall mounted lights and 2 freestanding lights.

There is available light from ceiling skylights, or these can be covered to eliminate outside light altogether.

The studio is suitable for most portraiture, the maximum backdrop height is just over 2 metres, so tall people with hands raised full length shots can be a problem, but it is more than ample for most work.

The studio is upstairs and access is through normal width doorways, so it is unsuitable for large objects.

There are changing and make-up facilities available.

The studio is set in a converted Victorian warehouse factory and boasts high ceilings of about 25 foot high and main studio area of 58 sq ft.

The studio is bright and airy with white walls, white ceilings and white floors. There are huge windows providing fantastic natural light with dimensions of 10 ft by 4.5ft.

The location offers a choice of clear white walls, or a "setting" of leather sofas and seating, along with a platform and wood stairs leading to the mezzanine.

There is also a small roof area and spiral staircase outside on the same floor.

The mezzanine can be used as a seperate area for hair, make up and stylists.

Outside the "location space" there are also long corridors, white brickwork, offering a fantastic industrial setting.

Studio 50 provides photographers with a really well appointed studio at an unbelievably low hire charge of just £15 per hour (minimum 2 Hours). Yes, for just £30 photographers get the use of a fully equipped studio. Book an eight hour session and take advantage of the £100 day rate which is a mere £12.50 per hour.

Lighting tuition can also be provided for an additional £15 per hour (minimum 1 hour).

The studio hire comes complete with the use of four Bowens professional flash heads and a good selection of light modifiers and reflectors plus the use of modern changing and washroom facilities.

The Studio is owned and run by John Bigglestone FRSA, a photographer all his life and a member of the London-based Association of Photographers.

There’s 500 square ft of shooting space on the ground floor, with another 350 sq.ft. for admin and post-production upstairs. Studio lighting is by tungsten and electronic flash, with camera equipment ranging from digital SLRs to conventional large-format film cameras.

The work consists mainly of the Corporate Photography needed for brochures, leaflets and advertising; a selection can be seen in the galleries following this page. Additionally, John enjoys the equestrian photography that he practises mainly in Scotland, marketed both here and through the sister site flashhorse.com .

Digital retouching and manipulation is done in-house, with clients encouraged to work with John and his staff, in order to assure total satisfaction.

Savoir faire studios were purpose built in 1992. The building contains two studios.

STUDIO 'A'
The major part is formed by a large cove which is an integrated part of the structure. The cove has a very smooth continuous lining with seamless transition between flat and curved surfaces. Apart from access and adjoining areas at one end, the cove including the ceiling is continuous. The ceiling has very large radius curves on all four sides for exceptional lighting control. A section of the ceiling is suspended on electric winches and can be lowered, moved and angled.

Studio 'A' is frequently used for car photography, the making of TV advertisements, DVD and video production including pop videos, fashion, general commercial and advertising photography as well as for casting, rehearsal and training. The cove is supplied pristine white unless otherwise specified.

STUDIO 'B'
A smaller studio, but very versatile, it is designed as a flexible multipurpose studio and rehearsal space. The total ground floor area is 1,100 square feet with drive-in access and a kitchen area. An additional 755 square feet on the first floor is open to the ground floor, providing a shooting gallery with a maximum headroom of 20 feet.

This studio may be hired alone or together with Studio 'A' as additional shooting space or service area, or for set building, product storage, indoor parking and vehicle preparation.

The Fetish Studio is a Norwegian Log cabin that was purpose built as an adult play space. It is air conditioned and fully equipped. Whether you are completely new to BDSM or are an experienced player the Studio will provide the ideal surroundings to explore and extend your horizons in private, discreet surroundings. It is ideal for every occasion from a few fun filled hours to an exciting overnight stay.

The Studio sits in its own private and secluded garden within a mature English woodland.  In front of the Studio is an Oak deck equipped with a gas barbeque, picnic table, chairs and  a 15KW patio heater to keep you warm at night. Outdoor play is  possible for the majority of the year. There are a number of steep stone steps leading up to the Studio garden so we recommend that sensible shoes are worn. We regret that there is no disabled access.

Conveniently located in Royal Berkshire, 40 minutes from London Paddington via  public transport, 5 minutes from M4 junction 12 or 25 minutes from London Heathrow airport by car.

Training covers lighting, posing a model, styling tips and camera setup, photoshop retouching and workflow - £50 per hour (model hire is additional)

Model Hire - you can hire models through our ageny, www.agency7.co.uk to shoot at the studio.

Photo Preping - We can retouch and print photos for you, £15 per retouch, £10 A4 colour print, £15 A3 colour print

PARKING - Parking is free.

Colorama Paper Backgrounds - Colorama paper use is a fixed price of £20 per session(based on approx £7 per metre and 3 metres usage)
