Should you sign a model release?
A photographer cannot normally publish any images of you unless you have agreed that s/he can do so.
The agreement is called a model release, and the photographer will always ask you to sign it, normally before the photography takes place.
The model release is a contract. Both you and the photographer will be bound by the terms it contains, and you should make sure, before signing it, that you are happy with what it says.
If you are under 18 your parent or legal guardian must sign it for you.
