The Institute of Modeling celebrates the very best of the year’s talent at both amateur and professional levels. You may nominate yourself or any other person for consideration for an award. Please give us as much detail as possible as to why you believe they or yourself should be considered. Nominations are open year round, cut-off for each year is 30th November.
Awards will be presented on 30th December 2010. The 2010 Model award categories are:
Professional Model of the Year Award

The Institute of Modeling's Professional Model of the year award is open to all models, regardless of race, gender, sexual preference, religion, marital status or history. The award celebrates the very best of the years professional models. Criteria
Aged: 16 – 34 Gender: Male or Female Status: Professional Model (full-time model either freelance or via an agency)

The Institute of Modeling's Semi-Professional Model of the year award is open to all models, regardless of race, gender, sexual preference, religion, marital status or history. The award celebrates the very best of the years semi-pro models. Aged: 16 – 34 Gender: Male or Female Status: Semi-professional (part-time model either freelance or via an agency paid and TFP shoots)

Photographer of the Year Award

The Institute of Modeling's Photographer of the year award is open to all photographers, regardless of gender, race, sexual reference, religion, age, marital status or history. The award celebrates the very best of the years photographers. The panel will be looking at 1-2 of the nominee’s best pieces that show off your talent and ability to use the model, lighting, setting and editing to the highest standards.

The Mapplethorpe Photography Award

The Institute of Modeling's Mapplethorpe Award for Photography is a celebration of the style and artistic creations that encompasses both the fashion, glamour and art industries. The award named after the Robert Mapplethorpe the prodigious talent that was renown for his amazing artistic shots and pushing boundaries of the 70’s and 80’s society views. The award is open to all photographers, regardless of gender, race, sexual reference, religion, age, marital status or history.
Entrance Criteria
Aged: 18+ Gender: Male or Female Status: Amateur or Professional Photographers Photo Specific: Photo must be black and white and contain at least one model

Service to the Model Industry Award
|
The Institute of Modelings service to the model industry award is to celebrate the people that work so hard all year to provide a safer and fairer industry. These unsung hero’s of the industry are often unpaid and usually face threats, abuse and damage to their property. These people make the industry a better place for everyone to work in, nominations are accepted by anyone working within the industry. There are no entrance requirements for the nominees, except directors of the Institute of Modeling are allowed to be nominated (for quality assurance purposes).
